Considering my skills

Skills I have learnt during my AS

During my AS project, I learnt a lot more about how to use a digital video camera. I feel my skills have improved, by filming certain scenes during my film opening. However to improve i could learn how to frame my shots better so they look more professional.
I feel that my editing skills have also improved, by learning how to crop and edit certain parts of my film to fit it perfectly onto the screen. To improve i could try out some more advance techniques to try and push myself to the next level.

I feel my presentation and time management skills have improved hugely, by using blogs to present our short film opening project. I used my time management skills to ensure everything was done to the best standard and on time. I also ensured all work that was done was presentable and looked eye catching and interesting.
However to improve i should have realistic ideas before I try to create what I want. This took a lot of our time up in the film opening project, as the editing skills we needed to use where very complex and it.
On the other hand my team work skills improved massively as I worked in a team of three, and we had to split the work equally. To ensure we all got similar grades when our project was marked.

Another skill I could improve would be to plan my ideas out correctly and in detail before I set out to practically make it. As this would save time and make my project look a lot more professional.

Finally I should do trail runs and try out techniques I want to use before I plan to use them. This again would save time and ensure that my project would be realistic.
